The suspect did not resist arrest. The school personnel took the weapon away from the boy and handed the youngster over to the police.
Students are out of danger and they have left the school building. The police have also inspected the building and not found anything suspicious in there.
The suspect in the shooting has been detained and he is being interrogated. According to preliminary data, a revolver was used to shoot. In the course of criminal proceedings, it will be ascertained why the student shot the teacher and where the weapon used for that purpose came from.
To investigate the case, criminal proceedings were initiated under the section of the Penal Code treating manslaughter. The investigation is conducted by South Prefecture and supervised by the Southern District Prosecutor´s Office.
