I am pleased to invite you to the Eurojustice 2009 Conference which will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from 23 September to 25 September, with the conference venue being the Nordic Hotel Forum, Tallinn.

The main subjects of this year's conference will be the following:

(1) Turn state's evidence (advantages, problems, etc.)

(2) Good governance: the management of a prosecutor’s office with limited resources (optimal structure, division of duties, etc.)

(3) Leaks to media (use of media has become an important component of the defence strategy)

We have also included in the programme the discussions on the position of the European Prosecutor and the future of Eurojustice.

I sincerely hope that these topics provide us with a useful opportunity to discuss issues relating to the best practices, management and efficiency of criminal justice.
