Northern Circuit Prosecutor`s Office

Northern District Prosecutor’s Office is located in Tallinn and its territorial jurisdiction lies within Harju County.
Northern District Prosecutor’s Office has five departments: Department for drug crimes and offences against persons, Department for corruption- and economic crimes, Department for juvenile crimes, Department for general crime offences I, Department for general crime offences II

The total number of prosecutors working in the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office is 76: in addition to the chief prosecutor, five senior prosecutors, 2 special prosecutors, 28 district prosecutors and 40 assistant prosecutors. All prosecutors in the district have a certain orientation to deal with a specific type of crimes. Northern District  Prosecutor’s Office also employs two specialised prosecutors, whose task is to work project based with priority crimes.
